The Leader Says: "I AM The One Who Is Quoted!"

just quoting the first one?

One element of being a leader is the ability to explain complex ideas simply. This sometimes involves using famous quotes to get a point across.  For example, if you are leading a discussion that involves planning a project, it might be better to quote Einstein: “Make things as simple as possible, but no simpler” rather than spend time explaining the advantages of simplicity and of where to draw the line.

There is nothing like the stare of a Yokozuna. Personal Excellence.

Yokozuna is highest level of sumo wrestling. It is commonly called a “Grand Champion” but it is more of a recognition of excellence.  Sumo is the Japanese martial art in which very large – generally over 300 pounds – men attempt to push the other out of a ring or drop him to the ground. This article is not a primer on sumo, so there may be some details left out or some concepts not fully explained.

Sumo has 6 major tournaments a year.  Each tournament is 16 wrestlers in a round-robin tournament.  One criteria to be selected to yokozuna status is that he must win 2 consecutive tournaments with at least 13 wins.  That’s 13-2 against people who also must win to advance.

New SelfGrowth.com Article: Leader Is Not Smarter Than The Room

A full length article has been posted to Rick Carter's Expert Page on SelfGrowth.com.  It is titled "Leader May Be The Smartest In The Room, But Is Not Smarter Than The Room."  It discusses this concept (from the article): "A leader may be smarter than any one person on the team. Sometimes even smarter than any two people on the team. But that doesn't make him or her all-knowing. It may make this leader able to analyze ideas quicker or more in line with the goals of the team, but it does not mean that ideas can come only from the leader." And also this from the article: "A great leader weighs and considers every idea, no matter from whom. And a great team volunteers ideas and does not wait for one to come out of the leader."
